Catch him in Newport, Kentucky (just over the bridge from Cincinnati, Ohio) tomorrow (Oct 11th) at the Southgate House with Margaret Darling (of the Seedy Seeds) and Billy Wallace. Buy tickets here, at Shake-It Records (today's the last day to do so), or at the Southgate House itself.  Here's the rest of the details for the show: 8 pm doors / 9pm show, $5 ADV / $8 DOS, Ages 18+ (sorry, kids!!!). And then he's playing for free at Mayday (in the  neighborhood of Northside in Cincinnati, OH) on Nov. 17th for FREE (21+ again...).  I know that's not listed on the site yet, but the booker informed me of it today...

We're really excited! This Sunday 11/22 we'll be moving Bughouse Video across the street to 4183 Hamilton Ave., directly next to Sidewinder Coffee & Tea. We'll be closed for business on Sunday only and will reopen on Monday at our new location, same phone number, same street, same website, etc...

Really Really Free Market this Saturday!!!

This is the second time the RRFM will be taking place in Hoffner park in Northside from 1-5PM this Sat! The weather will surely be beautiful (hopefully) and there's going to be some great stuff going around. It's all free! No money, no bartering, no swapping, no trading. Just remember to bring something even if it's a sweet skill like giving haircuts or plucking some strings on a banjo and stick around for some convos. Free vegan food will be brought by Food not Bombs later on in the afternoon.

Rock City/Scentiments Has Moved Near Shake-It Records and Blue Jay's

The oldest punk clothing store in North America (possibly the world) is located in... Cincinnati, Ohio in Northside!!! Open since 1976!!! Go figure... Their new spot is what used to be hair salon on Hamilton Ave next to Blue Jay's, a door or two down from Shake-It. There's a LOT more room there now and TONS of shirts. If you're into straight edge or mosh hardcore, they've got a good amount of shirts of that, too. Most shirts are $16, which is pretty good.

I set up their internet in exchange for a tan Larm "noisecore" shirt, and I couldn't be happier. :)
