The Spirit and the Bride

I came across this group on facebook.  They're from San Francisco.  Self-described as a mix of darkwave, goth, and dream-pop.  I hear some Dead Can Dance and British pop influences in it.  It's very mature and well-written, so I'd strongly recommend checking it out.  Here's some links for them:

Like I told a friend, don't ask me where this guy came up with the name for his act (sounds like the name of some epic metal band...), but this stuff rules!!!! Catch him in Newport, Kentucky (just over the bridge from Cincinnati, Ohio) tomorrow (Oct 11th) at the Southgate House with Margaret Darling (of the Seedy Seeds) and Billy Wallace. Jeff DAHL & POISON IDEA - DEAD BOY (STIV BATORS TRIBUTE)

I had no idea this even existed and while i never really listened to much Stiv Bators, I like Poison Idea a lot and Jeff Dahl does an amazing vocal performance on the songs he's on.  Highly recommended, especially if you like Poison Idea.
