Andrew G. Clark's "Future Trends" Project Featured in NME Magazine

Andrew Clark, a friend of mine and member of my house church, got a write-up in NME magazine. It was longer than this, but this is what i could find on their site so far (btw check out his graphic design blog and other project, JAILB8)...

Future Trends 'Moonraker' (from No Pain In Pop blog)
Once again No Pain In Pop chucks up a gem. The interstellar synth of 'Moonraker' by Ohio native Andrew G Clark, aka Future Trends, starts out as a hopelessly mournful tale of lost love, before a single-finger piano melody chimes in and the shifting beat delivers just the slightest, most subtle smidge of hope.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand clicking on the aforementioned blog link will bring you this:

More glide. And does Future Trends glide - through gears and problems, evading chemical sludge and girl trouble, out the other side somehow clean and fresh as a diamond. ‘Moonraker’ and ‘Dangerous’ feel like being born outside in the rain, like Jan Hammer was. Some of us are just blessed like that, I suppose.

More wine?
